COLLECTION
ANTHEMION
- Our Anthemion Collection is inspired by Ancient Greek architecture ornaments at the corners of pediments, Acroteria.
- Acroterion is an architectural ornament placed on a flat pedestal called the acroter or plinth, and mounted at the apex or corner of the pediment of a building in the classical style. Most of them seem to have been flower shaped, often resembling a palm leaf, acanthus or honeysuckle.
- The Greek 'anthemion', meaning 'flower' or 'blossom', was an eternal symbol of endless evolution and integral rejuvenation.
- Each artifact is handcrafted and unique; therefore, slight variations might occur.
